1. ## Type

Choose how your automated trades are triggered. You can combine modes with **Add Strategy**.

    ![Counter Trading](https://proxima-docs.pages.dev/media/diagrams/autotrade/counter-dark.png)

Counter Trading trades in the opposite direction to observed trades: AutoBuy buys after sells; AutoSell sells after buys.

    ### Trigger Condition

Rate (%) sets response probability. Min. quote asset and Min. Token set the minimum observed trade.

    40% chance per trade

Illustration: 2 accepted out of 5, in a different order each cycle. The actual setting gives each trade a 40% chance.

    Rate **40%**

    Trade 1 **1SOL**

    Accepted **1SOL**

    ### Replication Factor

Your trade size relative to the observed trade.

    AutoBuy · 20%

    1 SOL × 20% = 0.2 SOL.

    Replication **20%**

    Sell **1SOL**

    Buy **0.2SOL**

    ### Minimum per trade (optional)

Amount to accumulate before trading, separate from the trigger filter.

    Min. 0.1SOL

Each trade adds 0.025 SOL. At 0.1 SOL, AutoBuy buys and the counter resets.

    Accumulated **0.1 / 0.1** SOL

    Trade **+0.025SOL**

    Buy **0.1SOL**

    > **Why set a minimum per trade?**
    >
    > Why set a minimum per trade?
    >
    > Minimum per trade groups small sells into one larger sell.
    >
    > - Fewer repeated sales, making AutoSell less obvious.
    > - Save on gas fees.

    ![DCA](https://proxima-docs.pages.dev/media/diagrams/autotrade/dca-dark.png)

DCA spreads your buys or sells over time by placing a trade at a fixed interval.

    - **Fixed Amount**: use the same amount for every trade.
    - **Randomized**: vary the amount between **Min Amount** and **Max Amount**.
    - **Interval**: set the time between trades, up to 24 hours. Only amounts are randomized; the interval stays fixed.

    AutoBuy · DCA

Accelerated AutoBuy illustration: successive purchases of 0.1 SOL worth of tokens follow an arc at 10-second intervals. Countdowns keep running as the circles move. Each purchase is confirmed at the center, then moves left while the next circle takes its place.

    ![Limit Orders](https://proxima-docs.pages.dev/media/diagrams/autotrade/limits-dark.png)

Limit Orders schedules buys or sells at the market-cap levels you choose. Set an amount and a **Market Cap (USD)** target for each order.

**AutoBuy**: amount + USD market-cap target per row, with each target lower than the previous one.

**AutoSell**: token amount + USD market-cap target per row, with each target higher than the previous one.

    AutoSell · Limit Orders

AutoSell illustration: a 20K-token sell is triggered at each market-cap target, $50K, $75K and $100K. Each order triggers once in this example.

2. ## Market Cap Range (optional)

    [Set AutoSell market-cap ranges · Enlarge video](https://proxima-docs.pages.dev/media/demos/done-live-auto-sell-ranges-dark.webm)

    Set AutoSell market-cap ranges

Lets you choose the market-cap range in which the strategy can buy or sell.

    Market Cap Range

    **$60K**

    In-Range · DCA

    In-Range

3. ## End Conditions (optional)

Cap the amount, duration or both. The first limit reached stops this strategy.

    First limit reached

Accelerated illustration of strategy end conditions: 60K tokens sold or 30 seconds elapsed. One cycle reaches the amount limit first; the next reaches the duration first. The first limit reached stops this strategy.

4. ## Advanced Options

    ### Whitelist (optional)

Ignore trades from these addresses in Counter Trading. Launch-plan wallets are included by default.

Choose which wallets the session uses to buy or sell.

    > **Warning**
    >
