# Account Access

Create your Proxima account, choose a sign-in method, and prepare a recovery path before you need it.

## Create an account

Use this path only if you do not already have a Proxima account.

Create a Proxima account

1.  Open the sign-up flow from the login screen.
    
2.  Enter a username: **3–24 uppercase letters or numbers**.
    
3.  A valid **referral code** is required: use app.proxima.tools/signup?ref=`Q1WS64`, or enter the code (e.g. `Q1WS64`) on the sign-up screen.
    
4.  Choose the login method you will use for future sessions:
    
    -   **Email:**
        
        enter your email address and confirm the one-time verification code.
        
    -   **Passkey:**
        
        create a passkey in the prompt opened by your browser or operating system.
        
    -   **Wallet:**
        
        connect the intended wallet and sign the authentication message.
        
    
    > **Information**
    > 
    > Each wallet address, passkey, or email address can only be linked to one Proxima account.
    
5.  After setup, confirm the linked method in **Settings > Login Methods**.

## Log in

Use a method that is already linked to the account:

Log in to Proxima

-   **Email:**
    
    request a verification code and enter it on the next screen.
    
-   **Passkey:**
    
    select **Log in with Passkey** and complete the device prompt.
    
-   **Wallet:**
    
    connect the previously linked address and sign the authentication message.

> Each wallet address, passkey, or email address can only be linked to one Proxima account.

> Never share a private key, seed phrase, backup code, or one-time verification code with support.
